Steve Muckerheide is President and Co-Founder of Backlot Imaging. He has over 20 years of
experience in the entertainment industry, including pictures and television production, electronic
film mastering, worldwide broadcast and manufactured distribution, and interactive multimedia production.
Steve recently served as Vice President, Worldwide Technical Operations for The Walt Disney Studios where
he oversaw all aspects of motion picture and television mastering and restoration for worldwide home
video manufacturing and television broadcast distribution. Working in dozens of different technical
and international language formats, Steve was technically and operationally responsible for over two
fifths of the world's prerecorded pictures and television programming. Prior to Disney, Steve held
increasingly responsible management positions with CBS Television City - Hollywood, Twentieth Century
Fox Film Corp., and Columbia Pictures.
In addition to Steve's entertainment related activities, he has founded and owns a fractional aircraft
ownership company in Wisconsin. He is also an Adjunct Professor in Management at Concordia University
Wisconsin.
Steve is an active member in the filmed entertainment and general aviation industries. He has earned an
undergraduate degree in Broadcasting and Film from Marquette University, and has an MBA in Management from
Pepperdine University.
Steve lives in Delafield, Wisconsin with his wife Barbara and two children.
